What does this all mean?
BMI provides an indication of body fat stores and is therefore an important health reference measurement. However it should not be used in isolation. Waist circumference, blood pressure, body composition, fitness levels and blood lipid (fat) levels all contribute to a complete picture of your current health and can be used to show changes in health status.
